Hey @Lenny -- if you use the subscribe button next to the picture at the top, you can actually get email updates instead of RSS. Much easier. I really don't get to update this site too often, I'm too involved with my other site: Omaha.net. But eventually I'll be back...and I'm on Twitter all day, @jordyclements. I read a blog post once that told me I am more likely to make a lot of money if I make lists, so here goes…

1) Did you happen to give out your business card to that hippie kid? I would like to read his rendition of the story.

2) If, in your story, you amorphously brand him hippie kid, what would he type-cast you as in his story…hippie-poser kid??

@Amanda Yours is not the only office that blocks my site. My friend Brendan’s work computer goes so far as to say that “jordyclements.com contains questionable material.” This should really help me get a job with the State Dept.

Thanks for the comment about the “wallpaper” — it’s actually a picture I took in China, even though it looks like San Diego ca 1973

@Melly Mei I’m sure Vacaville isn’t that bad. I seriously was there for all of 15 min, and I bet the rest of the town is nice. But something about the way it looked when we got off the highway, just corporate sign after corporate sign, all shrouded in this beautiful dark mist, dark night/gleaming light; I just found it so compelling that I had to write about it. And I like that pic. It creeps me out.

@Megan I miss SoCal weather Priuseseserz are sweet!
