@Jackson I’ll admit, the food in Mongolia was a little rough on my foreign stomach, but nothing about my writing is rushed. Excessively labored? Over-long? A poor fit for our current attention spans? Sure! But not rushed Thanks for reading.

@Agnes I think you remember the trip better than I do! Maybe you should write about it! But I’m going to try…there are a lot of stories hiding in Mongolia. I had a new post last night, look for another one by next Sunday.

It’s funny how everyone is so focused on that tower video, I almost didn’t include it! jordyclements.com is about the writing, man! But it’s a neat video. Doesn’t give you a good sense of how it was up there. It felt REALLY high.

Going up that tower was crazy frightening ! I’m so glad I knew you were ok before I viewed it, although as the camera tumbled and you were breathless, I had my doubts of your safety.
You could have been killed, crazy white boy !

@Kevin What you can’t hear is the little Mongolian children cat-calling me the whole time (probably something to the effect of, “No American man, don’t…don’t die, our parents will make US clean the body!”). I wanted to chill at the top and enjoy it, but my forearms were shaking, and I was literally afraid that I was going to fall off if I didn’t come down immediately. I’m impressed that you fell for my amateur video tricks, though, haha.

@Ryan Yes all credit for the title of the post goes to Ryan. That’s the great thing about having friends on the opposite side of the world: when you’re brain is mushy, and it’s 5am, and you’re just trying to get the post up, it’s the middle of their work day and they are still fresh and clear thinking : ) Thanks
