love the post! i am amused at the idea that we would have also had a good time in seoul if we had just spent it talking (me more so than ever). really do love the spontaneity of the post, and what you were going for was totally delivered.

let’s rock climb some day. i’ve been wanting to do it, and i can provide that camaraderie your betters cannot. lol.

you’re right. a lot of blogs out there are riddled with too much audience and purpose. maybe you’ve found a way to envision your audience naked, finally.

Gone are the days when just having a blog makes you unique. I think it’s just a matter of trying to figure out the goal. Is the point of the blog to be a resume showpiece? Is it to make money? Is it to learn through toil how to write effectively on the internet?

Sometimes, without sounding too crazy now, it’s to quiet the voices in your head. You ever write a sentence to no one, refine it, make the words fit together like perfect little puzzle pieces, and then realize you’ve just used all this mental energy on a figment…a nothing? Well, I guess that’s why I am blogging. To give those nothings a home. It’s a wonderful age we live in, and one day I’ll figure out how to capitalize on it…

you have the talent, just find a way to make it profitable and you’ll be all set.

maybe not a blog (for profit)… have you thought of publishing? i’m pretty sure you’d be great at travel guides, short stories, anything really…
